Makes me wonder with all the jobs out there, why someone with 7 yrs of experience is having a hard time finding a job...Now I know...

80 in a 55 and you did not go to jail? Most states going that fast is considered reckless driving. IMHO maybe you need to take a break from trucking.

    Cody,

I know this is going to sound really mean and I personally do't care how you take it. You sound like a guy that sooner or later we will see on Dateline where they catch guys trying to have sex with people that they are not soppose to. Not saying that you ever will but with your driving record and your profile all I can say is that I hope you don't come to Houston very often. IMO you should stop driving all together and get a job at someplace that you just do anything but drive something. Also for awhile take the bus or a cab to get to work for a little while, just till you figure out how to lift your foot of the fuel peddle.
Be safe and keep the shiny side up.

Well Cody, as far as what you really did or did not do, it really does not matter does it?

What matters is that your record shows:

3 tickets in 3 years which means you are considered an at risk, high premium driver, but that is not the real killer. Having one 25 over is.

1 ticket is for 15+ over which means for 3 years from date of conviction you are one more ticket like that from a minimum 6 month vacation from driving. It is also considered reckless driving by insurance companies and many trucking companies.

BTW: As a resident of Illinois that 25 mph over speed citation will show up on your record for 10 years.

With a record like that I do not really know of any company, large or small, that could afford to hire you.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

    Default mr dot wannabe...

there's one thing wrong about your statement, actually 3 things:
    1: you don't know me
    2: i don't have a IL driving lic
3: who asked you for opinion anyway?

cause there's plenty of companies that can afford me, thank you very much. just have to look a little longer and probably further.... 8)

Better, as in unemployed? A bad lawer means he couldn't get your 80 reduced, at least as I see it. I won't throw stones in my glass house though

Time heals all, so wait it out. Have you applied on CAD, maybe somebody will take a chance on ou.

Well you have your location listed as Springfield, IL. Not my fault you have listed false information, and if you do live in Springfield and have for over 30 days then you are in violation of IL law for not getting an IL license.

Not my fault you have so many speeding tickets, one of which is a very nasty one and are having trouble finding a job.

Not my fault either if you do not like the information I have posted. If you were a hireable driver then you would have companies beating down your door.

You would be wrong. The tickets may not transfer over to another state, but the MVR is still there and any company that hires a driver will pull all state MVRs for that driver.
