    Default Schneider or Covenant?

I?m at a fork in the road?

Quick question, if you were a young squirt like me and was just starting out, would you go with Schneider or Covenant?

Does one offer significant advantages over the other or are they about the same? Right now, I?m going with Schneider?I don?t want to make a mistake.

I mean, I can hire on to both, it is just a matter of choosing at this point.

When you are finally on your own, Schneider pays 33cpm. I couldn?t find what Covenant pays on their website. Anyone know?

    Thanks, bye

I am a newbie at decision making time as well. If it were me, and my choice was only these two, then it would be Schneider. In my research I have seen much more positive about Schneider than Covenant.

But these are not the only companies out there. Why limit to these two? If you need a company that will train you to get your CDL I hear Roehl is pretty good too.

I am curious as to why you chose Schneider. It depends on how you want to run. Covenant runs a lot of teams. Schneider runs primarily solo's.

This may sound a litttle nit-picky to some.... but, I would shy away from Covenant just on principle. Here is why... They purport to be a Christ-oriented group of owners (hence the name Covenant)...and yet they are far from what He taught and are, therefore, not Christ-like. Their policy is no forgiveness when it comes to past felonies. They only want to associate with the saints and are shunning the sinners, exactly opposite of the teachings of the Word. That being the case, I am forced to apply voluminous amounts of skepticism as to what other ways they diverge from the path. If they are hypocrits in one area, they may also be in many others. Make sense? JMO.
If at first you don't succeed, you will want to avoid skydiving.
