What was the felony for? This can make some difference.
Most companies will not touch you especially with no experience for five years if ever.
In the current marketplace, you are going to have a very tough time for many reasons.
1. Your age: Many companies won't touch you until you are 23, some even 25 sue to insurance companies policies. This alone won't completely disqualify you, but it limits your options.
2. The felony: The charge may make a difference, but the fact that it is only 5 years old doesn't help. Some places may look at you after 10 years, but as crb mentioned you may be done before you even got out of the gate.
3. Lack of experience: I know everyone has to start somewhere, but the combination of your age and your record most employers would probably pass on you and train someone else.
I'm not saying that it is completely impossible for you to find a driving job, but it is going to be an uphill battle. You may try some local dirt hauling, paving, or excavating company that will give you a chance in a dump truck, but you may want to try and find another occupation to get into. Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to give an honest opinion.

If you're only 21 and it's 5 years old were you tried as an adult or juvenile?
Good luck. Must have been serious to remand to adult court.
Thats it right there. You are only 21 and in Wisconsin. You need to talk with the department of licensing and find out what the laws there are. Then you need to know what the various company's have to say, as regards your conviction. Theft in trucking is BIGTIME issue.
You might be better of focusing on construction. Look into getting training for equipment operator.

Have you tried looking for a company that has freight terminals like Ashley (yeh, the furniture people), Holland, R&L (?), UPS, FedEx, Yellow or Roadway. Start as a dock worker and work your way up. Keeping your nose clean will be mandatory. BOL. I guess I should have been clearer in my response. You don't say if you have a CDL. The point is to start at the bottom of the heap and advance within the company. Start working docks humping freight, your work ethic will be noticed, or not. Take a forklift driving course on your own, and you may move up. Some companies provide training if employees don't have a CDL, be that person. UPS doesn't usually hire doubles drivers, they started as package sorters where packages are incoming or outgoing. Again, BOL

What is a dock worker
Dock workers often use forklifts to load and unload trucks. They may also use manual labor to load or unload. They could manually repalletize freight.
