Default The Importance of Time Management

There's a time for watching porn.

    There's a time for sleeping.

There's a time for driving and trying to make a buck.

There's no time to do all three at the same time . .

Police say trucker was tired, watching porn when fatal crash occurred : Home: The Buffalo News

OF PARTICULAR INTEREST TO TEAM DRIVERS:

There's a time for your co-driver to take the wheel and try to make a buck.

There's a time for bludgeoning your co-driver to death.

It is unwise to bludgeon your co-driver to death while he's driving . .

How unreal! Stuff like that is unheard of. Kinda like being in a movie or something.

Holy Ballzzzz ... I used to drive for Millis

They lost 2 rigs while i was there from drivers trying to keep driving after having been drinking booze for several hours.

They had 5 killed (via fire and explosion) from a O/O driving over 19 hrs and getting t-boned in the fuel tank at a construction site

Those guys at Millis had the worst luck when it came to bonehead drivers piloting their rigs

The whole time I was reading about the co-drivers, I was expecting it to list the company as CRST. They are known for putting total strangers in a truck together. Hire you as a solo, but match you up with another driver to run team.
    Destroy the cities...
    and they will rebuild them.
    Destroy the farms...
and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.

Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...
and grass will grow in the executive offices.

    The bill has come due.

Yeah they will literally pair you up with any warm body in the room. Not even attempt to see if you can get along. I was put of the terminal here in OKC with them for all of two weeks.

I've always suspected they have a substantial turn-over rate. Higher than most companies, I'll bet. And, it's my guess they've been enjoying the fact that there is (for the time being) a surplus of drivers.

Oh no doubt, more warm bodies to hurry up and wait. Reason #2 I left was no freight.
Much easier to get along with someone you don't like if you don't see each other but when you get up and when you go to sleep along with maybe a break in the middle. quite another to deal with them for 4 days straight waiting for a load.

    Default UPDATE: Falcon, not CRST

    TheTrucker.com - America's Trucking Newspaper

They say there appears to have been a personality conflict. Can't argue with that.
