    I asked our mechanic today; why, with all the people we have applying to work here, is it so hard to find good drivers?

    His reply- "Why do all our curtain vans have tarp hooks?"

    Oh, ok. 65 feet is a different story. Still I agree with you that just because you are legal for a road does not mean you should be on it. Tight turns and pulls are part of the job if you pick up in small towns. When I was running the west I picked up lumber and products in many small places in CA, OR, WA etc..and often took back roads for the scenery. In the SUMMER.
