    Default $5000.00 Down The Drain?

I attended 2 driving schools. One was called Southern Driving Academy,Jackson,Mississippi. That school went out of business. And they nver did help me get a job.I went to another school.MSCARRIERS,Memphis,TN.This was all back about 10 years ago.I drove tractor/trailer for several years.Ive never had a accident or ticket.I still have my class A with endorsements.Ive been off the road for about 4 years.I want to go back. But because of the trucking companies insurance company rules.I dont qualify as a experience driver.I have to hook up with a company training program. So what does that leave me.SWIFT?.Id go that route just so I can get my foot back in the door. But SWIFT isnt hiring in my area.Herkimer,NY.Anyone know of a company that would take me on,in this area?

I'd suggest finding family in the area where they ARE hiring, and change your address there. Least you'd get hired, but i dont know about what would qualify as 'experience' or not. Might need to take another school, but not sure. fill out an online application or call PHX and ask. whats the worst they can say....No? you'd be in the same situation you're in now.
In order to HAVE pride, you must first TAKE pride.

Try small companies, O/O's, construction, garbage, you may want to try Werner, CR England, Millis, Roehl, Arrow, TMC, Prime, CRST, Covenant, Schneider, JB Hunt, Stevens, Willis Shaw Express, Gordon, Watkins Shepard, US Xpress, Baylor, WEL, May. Good luck.

Do that and never get home! There's not alot in Herkimer, but trees and loggers. JB pulls reefers out of Johnstown it's a slim chance cause of the training. You can try Crete I was talking to dispatch about getting my truck in for some work. He asked about putting it off for a week cause he's 15 trucks short in NY this week! I know I've been seeing alot more Crete's up here this year than last. They do have trainers and send trainee's out 2-6 weeks depending on skill level. Check em out & good luck

since Swift bought MS Carriers, I would think they would hire you if you went through their school
