Default Dave Made or World Wide Amps ?

I'm going to buy a bigger Amp currently I have a Dave Made 1x 2 (3 pill) which dead keys about 200 watts and swings a little over 400 , But I want a little bigger and am looking to buy a 2x4 ( 6pill) and am looking at Dave Made and World Wide the World Wide is about $150.00 less than a Dave Made 2x4 , But I've never owned a World wide amp , So I'm not sure if saving the $150.00 is really saving anything .

If your carrier output changes the you are over-modulating.

I think a more important concern would be.. today.. with UFH and VHF analog frequencies going to law enforcement and first responders and TV going all Digital. It won't be little ol ladies getting mad when your kicker interferes with their "soap operas" or "price is right". They are gonna hunt you down and fine you big time.

Well I'll never walk over everyone , as there a few guys with some HUGE set ups requiring extra set of batteries and extra alternators and are running thousands of watts ...I will be running off the stock 4 batteries and the stock alternator , which limits me to a about what I'm looking to buy which has a pep power of 1200 watts ...I mention PEP watts (swing) because that's what they rate all those high power connex radios with , and they top out at 400-500 watts PEP (swing) ...So this will be enough to MOON walk all over the 4300/400 with RF power at half dial ...LOL

It doesn't take 3 separate units to triangulate your position anymore-- they can do it with a single chase car or even a Plane or chopper. And you know you'll get careless and be setting parked in a T/S lot with it. If you start causing a problem with government communications-- you're become a high priority. The $$ they have to invest to find you.. the bigger the fine they gonna slap you with.

With many local, city and state systems being switched over to high band UHF (800-900 MHz) the chances of you causing problems even with a "hot rodded" 27 MHz band transmitter are minimal.

BTW, anyone can sniff out a transmitter with a $50 RF scanner procured on eBay.

Wouldn't surprise me... With a radio that has a decent S-meter (like the Galaxy 40-channel that I have), it's really easy to hunt down mobile units. Not too long ago, I did that to a Raven Transportation driver who was spewing political drivel, and after I announced his position to everyone, he never spoke again. (It didn't hurt that I drove right past him before I made that transmission).
However, a word of advice... watch out at the terminals with that thing. My first trainer got his amp yanked at the Fontana terminal when he got a PM service done on his truck, due to it being a violation of policy.
Other than that, just make sure to keep a clean signal and low SWR. You'll be ahead of 99.99% of CBer's with just that.

Current company lets the driver have these items, but they really want anything to the battery installed by the shop , but as long as the shop likes the wiring job they don't say anything , and my wiring job is clean and non ghetto everything run through existing grommets and all wires cleanly tucked away through the dash power/ground cable properly fused and sized and cleanly connected no duct tape or twisted wires ... My current SWR is 1:2:1 ...which is basicly as good as it gets .

keep the 1x2 use it as the driver
get you a 400 amp Motor Maul
and get you a 8 pill
    or look into a 2x8

just going to a 2x4 wont give you that much more
but stepping to the 8pill will

give me a pm if you need help with getting a good amp and setup
