    Hawkjr,
    you are most likely correct...
    Bottom line is that every job sucks and every employer is in it for one reason PROFIT.. that is why it is called business.. I work to live, not live to work as in Kevins case, later on in his life he will come to see that was a big mistake. It took me 20 plus years as an Executive Chef to finally realize it, as in the end the era that we live in is not conducent to any sort of employee longevity. The dollar bill will always win out over an employee's well being.
    It does not matter what line of work you do, or how well you do it, there will always be a kevin around to deal with, there will always be someone who whines louder then most, and always enough rumours to go around you would think the place is full of azzholes...
    hence my signature it is what it is.

    Back on topic now. Hawk, I dont think that anyone here can tell you weather or not to switch jobs. It may be the best move you make or the worst. There is no guarantee that the next job you get is any better or worse then the one you had. Does it sound like a decent deal? Yes. I think you may do better at a smaller company. Think it over and do what you feel is best. Good Luck Bro.

    Congrats on making the decision on taking the new job. Life is too short to be miserable at a job, and living with the "what if?" of going for a better opportunity. Even if it sucks, it seems like you are are the kind of guy that can stick it out in a bad situation so I think you'll be ok.

    And Xbox? Lame. Bunch of nerd/geek/dork gamers on here!

    Oh, wait.... I just bought this today on ebay and had it delivered to my So Cal agency within an hour of payment!

    Got that. And Rock Band. If you meant the arcade version of Guitar Hero (Guitar Freaks), I'm not into it to buy a full sized arcade machine. I am looking for a Para Para Paradise machine to go in my gameroom.

    If you can't tell, I'm into Bemani style games (Pump It Up, Beatmania, Teknika, ance Freaks, etc). I played halo for 10 minutes once though I also have about 90% of all orginal 8bit Nintendo games made. The real onces, not an emulator.

    I don't believe Hawk was making the claim that he didn't care about you. In fact, he went so far as to say he "supported" you. But obviously the analysis was somewhat correct, since you changed your sig line.
