Default An MRI in DOT physical?

When you get a DOT physical done, do you have to also get an MRI scan? Or is it mostly testing for drugs, vison, and hearing?

Most DOT physicals are done on the cheap. Just basic's. Blood Pressure, Urine check with a dip strip, eyes, hearing, pulmonary, hernia.

There are companies that do pay for back, chest and lung x-rays, but they are few and far between.

    Ditto what Stan said.

If an MRI was required, I'd be screwed, with all the metal fragments I've got embedded in my skin!
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.

Bavarian Motor Transport, a car hauling co. out of MI., does the whole x-ray thing when you go for your physical.

Arguing on the C.B. is kinda like running in the Special Olympics, 'cause even if you win your still retarted.

I paid $75 for my physical and a copy of the long form back in February.

    MRI's usually cost between $400 and $4000

That would be a heck of a deal.
