I agree with GMAN. We have lost some members when the "change over" began. Shoot, it took me forever to get back. (with the help from Snowman, and mike3fan) Some have come back, and there are some I'm sure that gave up. It would be nice to have everyone back.
It seems like the forum is slower than usual, but I wouldn't say it has died.

Fire off a PM to Scoe - he should be able to accommodate you.

As far as the board is concerned - all the trucking boards are slow right now. It happens from time to time. The fact that there was a major board shift at the same time it happened didn't help, but it certainly didn't cause it.

The board will pick up again. You can help by starting good threads. That is one thing I love about CAD. Even when it is slow, there are still great threads about the industry. Some of the other "trucking" boards have become nothing but politics, even though the election is almost a month passed.

Most boards have times when things slow a bit. CAD went through another very slow period about a year ago, as I recall. I think that in this case it is mostly due to the change over. You can always invite people to come over and visit.

I wouldn't say the board has died. I noticed a reduction in posts before the change-over. But, I would expect it to pick back up over a period of time. In visiting other boards, I don't see much activity there either. Some of the sites that had boards don't anymore, so the fact that this one is still going would suggest that it's still in the running.

I blame it on the search button. a lot of the stuff that new drivers would come on and talk about has been talked about over and over. no need to start a thread when you can go back and read the old ones and get every answer you ever wanted (or didn't want)
