Default I need some advice here - also....

I was attending the 'MTC' truck driving school, got in 184 hours of instuction, passed all the testing - such as the pre - trip, logs, and yard testing and straight/line backing, got my hard copy CDL permit and was ready to take testing for my actual CDL License - then got kicked out because of something regarding a co-signer for the school's purpose? Now - I still do not have my CDL License. I have Permit - only. What can I do about this, and is there any companies out there that will take you with just a permit??

    Please help - Thanks

Millis will take you with just a permit.

problem is-- I don't think they hire west of the Mississippi River.

Does anyone know if Roehl would consider him? or C.R. England? or god forbid ---- Prime?

Well the only thing I could suggest, is to go to Swift. I know most of the experienced drivers have a problem with them, and that permit wont mean jack. They MIGHT let you (and i stress MIGHT) let you take their 3 week course in 2 weeks. If you can demonstrate your ability to drive around the range, etc. The only reason i say Swift, is cause my credit was so crappy, i couldnt get a school loan to save my life. They dont check credit, which is where your issue came up, i think.

Kinda strange how they let you get thru 85% of the class, then 'find' something to boot you.

On the bus to KC, i ran into a guy i once worked with at the casino. He was going to St. Louis and going to work for MCT. They kicked him out also...and when i was headed back to KC for orientation, he was on the bus with me, headed to Swift. He washed out again, after a day...somethign with his backround check. I would look hard at WHY 'MCT' declined you, and see if you cannot correct the problem before looking for another school.
