    Default Bad joke maybe ?

After leaving GTS (Gainey)...I'm still owed my last check ,but I'm told it's comming ...However being true to form GTS has dropped my CPM from .33 to.21 cpm for my last check swindling about $500.00 from me...However I'm very sarcastic to people who screw with me ,so when the lady in pyroll asked if the pay rate was acceptble...I replied sure that's still plenty of $$$ to buy a nice shotgun /shells. with..and still have money left over for fuel/snacks to make a drive.

Maybe if Harvey N Gainey saves some of the money he steals he might go buy a suit that doesn't look it came from the bargain rack at the mens warehouse

I just thought my reply to the lady in payroll would be funny after she asked if shorting me $500 for no cause seemed fair.

What was the reason given for the decrease in pay?
Maybe it was their way of trying to retain drivers..
You know...no leave, no reduction in pay????? :x

well 21 cpm is base...then you add .03 for performance (on time) then .03 cpm for safety ...then .06 perdiem...this brought me to .33cpm...well i did hit a fender of a parked 379 ,so i can see the 03 deduction...but not the performance/perdiem especially since i was 100% on time service...I resigned b/c they were nit picking my logs by comparig them 2 qualcomm...which this is not how GTS does logs if it were 99% of their drivers would be in violation ...Their real issue was idle because I did when I sat in 90 or hotter which brought me subject to great scrutiny ...So they started nit picking my logs to the half hour compared to QC,which made it a losing situation with their freight, So I asked them where to return the truck ,and resigned ...cost me $250 for rental/gas...I was not happy at GTS but I just kept putting off spending the $$$ to leave them .

Yeah kinda sound like you were screw'd BUT depending on where Gainey is, and where you were could be a criminal problem if they decide to push it. A lot of states the threat to do something (Go Postal) is the same as if you actualy tried to do it. Don't even have to show up someplace. Was a case in Florida just last year where a guy called and threatened his ex boss that he had a gun and was coming to get him. He is now in Starksville doing 15 years. All it needed was the threat, he owned a gun, he had the opotunity.

Well that's your friend personally threatening to "come get" a specific individual with a firearm...My statement made no such claims or threats of assault, and was not mentioned while feuding ,so it's worlds different than your example ...

I think this happens more than you think. Same thing, here...after working for 7 months and 2 getting raises, the last paycheck was not paid at the ending salary but dropped back down to starting salary. Even contacted wage and hour division about it...I don't know how they get away with it but they damn sure feel comfortable doing it...they should hand you your last check with a jar of vaseline and some paper towels...

They do it because they assume 99% will just let it go because they will not spend the time or money to fight it legally ,and worse case scenario is they pay what they owe if legal action was taken sucessfully...

    That's exactly right!
