Sorry to disagree with you brother Mack. You have it all wrong.

    Because it is number -1

OTR is too much of a rip off to even be considered for that horrible list.

If you're barely making above the #25 on the list, you need to find a better carrier to drive for. I made 2.5x that much last year as a regional driver that's home every weekend.

Think about the hours spent in your truck with no overtime pay and you will see what he is talking about. Your time is like an hour glass, it should be worth something
CPM is a pay scam that most trucking company's use to get around paying overtime for excessive hours of work and other monitory issues.Get paid hourly and prevent sweat shop conditions.

That's right Mommy. Bad boy Belpre. Bad Bad.

Yeah, that list was compiled with normal people that work 40 hours in mind.
Not the senseless 80-100 hours that we deal with here. Folks donating their lives to greedy OTR carriers. What a shame.

Evinrude, I drive OTR because I like being away. I dont have any kids at home anymore, nor a wife I have to worry about going out on me if I leave town for a week.

I make 4x #25 on the list before I even start the truck so I dont lack for anything. But thats me, i know not everyone else out there is in this position.

You will never convince me to stop OTR and work local in Los Angeles, never.

Is putting other people down really the only way you can feel better about yourself? Just because you choose to do something else doesn't make you better or worse, just different. That's how life is, we are all responsible for our own choices. You've made your point ad nauseum, you don't like OTR... Big Freakin' Deal!

There are people in many lines of work that I would NEVER even consider doing, but I don't feel the need to harass them about their choices, what is it that makes you lash out like you do?

    Seriously I don't understand it.

    Your POINT has become dull.
It is not that you are misguided and wrong, but you persist with the same tired retoric, over and over, on every post. Enough already. Grow Up!!!
