Default Moving to non-driving job in a company. Is it possible?

Let's say one has been driving for a few years and is getting tired of it.

What would his options be for moving into a non-driving job with same company?

Could he do it without sacrificing significant income?

Are some companies better for this than others?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You might find a job as a dispatcher, but those with whom I have spoken tend to make less money than the OTR drivers. Something in safety might also be an option. Recruiting is also an option.

I know a guy who drove OTR as a leased on O/O for Melton for a while (brought his own truck, not a lease purchase guy) and has since moved to Safety/Recruiting.

Took a pay cut somewhat but he enjoys it a lot. I think he drove for them for 5 years or so and was a good performer so it's possible.
