Comfort versus maneuverability
Destroy the cities...and they will rebuild them.Destroy the farms...and grass will grow in the streets of the cities.
Destroy the economy of the blue-collar worker...and grass will grow in the executive offices.
The bill has come due.

It's not an optical allusion...sorry.
I run a Volvo 770 (77" sleeper). My company also runs Volvo 670's (67" sleeper). The 2 models have the same wheelbase. I just don't have as much room behind the cab.

My truck USED to be smaller than some trucks.... but then I bought an additive called X-10's!!
Now, well face it..... it IS bigger..... AND wider!![]()
And yes.... it DOES make it harder to park! But, I STILL like the challenge of a tight alley dock!!

The longer the wheelbase the harder it is to back up. I have a long wheelbase 379. There are some spots I had wished I had a short truck.
I got it in the spot, just took me a little longer.
Has everyone forgotten how to be COURTEOUS.
If you've forgot, it means.
respect for and consideration of others

i think the OP is messing with all of you people.
you knwo what i've always wanted to say to a woman in a bar? "let me slide my king pin into your 5th wheel." something of that nature. of course i'd say it while i'm tanked. so tanked that i wouldn't care if i got slapped and/or kicked in the balls. speaking of being plastered, i haven't been that way since i was home for an entire week due to christmas. that was a great week.
