Default I think I may have OCD...

Do you have a case of OCD?

    - I HAVE to be perfect in my parking spot at the truckstop or at a customer. I don't know why, but if I'm crooked it signifies to me that the driver is careless and not "professional"... That's my opinion anyways.

    - The steering wheel has to be straight with the tires pointing forward...

    - It annoys me big time to be driving and look back and see my bed not made. ugh, it drives me crazy.

    - I swirl my fingers around the chrome ring on my guages to make sure they are dust free waaaaay to much...

I think you have a case of professional perfectionism, nothing wrong with that. But if you find yourself on an old 48' dock and have to jack the cab to get in the hole, and that causes you a panic attack because you aren't straight... then you might have OCD.

    fixed.
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.

I'm guilty of those, too. If my truck's crooked between the lines, I take the time to straighten it. Drives me nuts otherwise. I've tried to ignore it a couple times, but that lasts about a half minute or so, lol.

what if the lines for the parking spot were not parallel? Would you be able to sleep?

    Are you kidding?
If I don't have my handy dandy can o Yellow Pavement Stripe Paint and the lightweight plastic roller holder Striper Unit under the mattress - I'll go to another truck stop/ lot where the lines are straight.
    I need my sleep.

You are leaving oil from your skin on the chrome which in turn makes more dust stick to it. I use a microfiber cloth.

i am the same way about this stuff. i'd run my fingers around the gauges if i had chrome inside. i cannot stand having a funk scent inside my truck. i want it smelling so fresh, so clean 24/7.
