Funny you should mention that. If anyone happens to be driving through LA on I 20, EB, keep an eye peeled for a dead gator btw MM 105 + 6, just off the breakdown lane. I only caught a glimpse but it looked huge.

Then notice that, unlike many other states with deer fencing, LA has gator fencing around all the little creeks, etc. Keep that in mind when Fifi needs to take a leak . .

This one time back when I was driving a straight truck, I pulled up to this major intersection in a good part of town and noticed the cross traffic acting funny. It took me a bit since I'd been running all day and was pretty tired with sweat running down in my eyes from the hot summer sun.

I noticed traffic was slowing and stopping right in the road ahead so I looked over across the parking lot and saw a wrecked car in, or among rather, the pine trees above a small drop into the lot itself by the road off to the right.

I couldn't see through the trees to the road but since there were people running around in the lot and traffic was stopping, there was obviously something wrong.

Low and behold, I got up into the intersection and see to my right in the middle of the 4 lane road: traffic, 3 more wrecked cars, people running all over, and this one guy. This one guy was dancing in the middle of the road. Naked. This guy was the happiest naked dancing in traffic guy that I've ever seen.

I don't know if he caused the wrecks or was just happy about them or didn't even know that anyone else was there or where he was or who he was. The news never said a word about it, which was odd. He was there though, on that hot sunny day. Naked dancing in traffic guy. I will never forget that.

I once saw a Swift driver back into a spot at a truck stop and get it in straight on the first try without hitting the truck on either side ot the hole he was backing into.

Today, I saw a man in a pickup truck with a dog in the passenger seat.

    Nothin' strange there.

However, in the back, he had not one, but two full pallets of pamper diapers.

Come on now driver, I did it all the time when I worked for Swift. Mind you I was trained elsewhere and came to them with 2.5 years experience, including 15 months in local opertaions. I used to bet people I could. I had a nice little racket going for a while.

Saw a guy with an eye patch driving down the road with a parrot on his shoulder. Couldn't see if he had a peg leg or not.

I saw a Roadway truck that had crashed over an embankment on I-80 in PA near Snow Shoe Mountain. At the bottom of the embankmant, the tractor and the two trailers formed a Z. I don't imagine the driver made it out alive.

Last winter I was crossing the OH/MI state line and saw a truck do a 180 in the highway. He didn't jackknife - he literally turned the truck around in a straight line while doing about 50mph.
