I happen to be a fan of White Castle in the east and In and Out burgers in the west. But I understand that there are some awesome mom and pop burger joints out there too.
Where are your favorite burgers?

Farmer Boys! We always go to them when we're in California! *drooling*
Check out my MySpace page or my hubby's (kj4aqt.org) - the last one has hundreds of pics which I took going down the road. Enjoy!!
Not meaning to hijack the threat, but I don't know about burgers, but the best bbq in the world is Rockys!!
It's near a little town called Sutersville, PA tucked WAY back in the woods all by itself...You almost have to find it by accident, but yeah, the best in the world...I think I'm gonna go get some now!
Primanti Brothers has pretty damn good burgers...if you wanna call them burgers... meat pattie on italian bread topped with cheese, tomatoe, cole slaw and french fries...Mmm

I liked those Whataburger joints in TX. Out of the fast food places in Indy I think Wendy's is the best by far.

Burgers from the hot cases at the Hook, T/A or Petro....
Vicco's Drive In..Glenwood Springs Colorado...
Tommys chili burgers founded in Los Angeles
There used to be a great burger place near the Galleria in Houston called Tommy's. They had the best Mesquite burgers, fries and onion rings I can recall in recent years. I haven't been there in some time.
I've never eaten there, but that place was on the Food Channel's top 10 All You Can Eateries in the nation here a year or so back. Yeah, I was bored that night.Primanti Brothers has pretty damn good burgers...if you wanna call them burgers... meat pattie on italian bread topped with cheese, tomatoe, cole slaw and french fries...MmmBut I remember that place and that burger, while thinking cole slaw and fries on the burger?!? :?
I love burgers myself and have tried a lot in a lot of different places. But, believe it or not, I am partial to a Double Whooper with Cheese from Burger King. I still think it's one of the best burgers around and has the best ratio of meat to toppings. Go figure.
Still, my absolute favorite sandwich in the world has to be a Steak Sandwich from Cassano's Pizzeria. Been years since I had one...next time I'm out to Ohio, I'll be looking for one.
All of Primanti's sandwich rule! Not just the burgers. Thanks, now I know were I going for lunch later(nice to live 10 min. from oneOriginally Posted by Jimbpard

Try the Red Cabose on Rt. 51, across from the Rostraver Airport. Great burgers, Excellent hotdogs and the fries are cut right there and the Chili for the dogs are homemade(weekend trip, guess I'll go vist the mom-in-law, gives me an excuse to go to the Red Cabose)
Naps in Hamilton MT (south of Missoula) get the "deal"
Funny, there's a similar thread going on at another forum I post at![]()
Zebb's (which has a few locations here in WNY) has great burgers. Homemade buns, fresh ground beef, and they cut their own fries, too (get 'em with gravy). Also, they have fantastic chocolate chip cookies.

In-N-Out, hands down. Unfortunately, only found in CA, NV and NM. There's a little place in Elyria, OH, called Midway Restaurant. Their signature burger is the Oh Boy, and let me tell you, it's a great burger. The last time I was there (10 years or so ago?) it was located on Lake Ave, but not that far off of SR2/I90, SR57, the turnpike (I80) or US6. Worth looking for if you find yourself in the area.
if your in sacramento, this is the place.
better have 1+ hours for lunch.
this place is small and the wait is long
