PGT pays for IdleAire for it's drivers. In fact, I don't even have to wait for money to be re-imbursed as they put $65 on ComData (32 hours) every week. Not sure exactly how that works as I've noticed that IF I use the full 32 hours anytime I just "check out" and "check in" again and the card is reloaded.

I also have a "Gold" card and use IA every chance I get.

    Works for me.

just started my training with gordon, my trainers truck has an APU,which I need because I need to run my cpap breathing machine . As far as the anti-idle rules-anybody ever heard of a driver getting a medical waiver for this reason? Sounds like a good idea! Any info would be appreciated Thanks orpliner.

What do you do if you are pulling a reefer and need to stop?

Maybe they can figure out a way to move some of that reefer cooling into the van?
