    Default Over The Road

Well I've been lurking on this site for who knows how long lol. I've heard it all from good to bad. Was thinking of Over the Road (no don't say all the bad things about it lol) and why would anyone want to do that and blah blah. lol.

My question is, I was looking at Crete Carrier. Have to be 22 years of age min. What got me interested was there National Fleet section. Where well from what I was reading it said 48state solo. Well first of all was I reading that right? Because I want to do 48state solo, instead of teams.

Then my second question is, When a company says Over The Road. Does that mean you have to go with teams? or Is there another company like crete that does 48 state solo. ( I hope that made since lol). Because I see companies that say OTR, but then You have to have a team or something. Or it says OTR, but it turns out you do say the 11 western states.

I was just wondering..that's all (explore my choices persay) Still have time to think about all that. But if someone can answer that it would be swell!

Ok sorry I was re-reading what I just posted, and I don't think I even understood what I wrote lol. Simple terms.

Looking for a company over the road, that does 48 states. But you can drive it all Solo. Does that make more since? all state run, No team though. Does that even exist? Besides Crete carrier? thats all thanks again =).

I'll try not to muddy up the water any more than you did.

Just about all companies will let you run 48 solo. They "offer" regional because there are some that want to stay close to home and for better hometime. Most companies LOVE drivers that will do all 48 because that means they can send them anywhere without worry about keeping them in a certain area.

With that said; Don't think just because you will do all 48 that you will get longer runs from coast to coast. Those will go to the teams first ( if they have any team operations).

On the other hand running 48 will get you moving faster and get you longer hauls than someone who is regional. ( They have more options with a 48 state driver ).

Did any of that make any sense?

Yes!! lol thanks. I didn't know if OTR 48 state thing was just a team thing or not. Thanks for clearing that up RidgeRunner =). Now I can go to bed with ease and not have that on my mind haha.
