    Default Endorsements question

I'm going tomorrow to take my Hazmat, Doubles/Triples, Tankers endorsements. Will I need to take a birth certificate or SS card or just my current license?
Also, does anyone know what the total cost would be for all those tests?
I'm in Pennsylvania if that matters.

You need your birth certificate to take your hazmat test. you need 2 forms of ID to take the fingerprint test (or so they say - they only asked for one from me).

The Hazmat should run you about $100 for everything at the most, including the fingerprinting. I'm not sure about PA, but in WI, there's no charge for taking the tests, only for the changed license

Rev, do you need the birth certificate PLUS 2 forms of ID or the birth certificate as one of the 2?

Play it safe. Take you DL, Birth record, and SS card. That should cover it no matter what.

Oh and don't forget to take your check book too.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

Agghhh...So I've studied/reviewed for a week for the Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles, now I'm screwed cause I dont have ANY idea where my birth certificate is..Agghh!!

Note to others: Be prepared in advance. Know where your birth certificate is.

Make sure your birth certificate is a stamped copy. It must have the embossed stamp on it, or it isn't acceptable.

When taking the written test for hazmat, you need your DL and birth cert. When getting the fingerprinting, you need your DL and SS card.

And yes, a checkbook (or cash) helps too.
