I prefer to stop at rest areas. Nobody trying to sell me stolen TVs, no crack *****s, no piss bottles all over the ground. Oh, and nobody taking my fender off because they think they know where the corner of their trailer is when backing into a spot.
I will stay at a truck stop depending on which one and where, and if I need a shower before going to bed.
As far as backing into the tight spots goes, I always turn off my CB before I start so I can't hear your comments about me being a bad backer upper and needing 4 or more pull ups to get my spread axle in the hole. It always gets in there eventually, and I never hit anyone's truck or anything else while in reverse.

... running a dedicated freight lane like Office-max to clarify, its not a dedicated freight lane, it is quite irregular, outbound and return loads , As you can park the DC when waiting for the load ,and almost all office max stores have over night parking Yes, and I might see an Office Max store every few days, sometimes up to a week, depending on length of haul. Although I will admit I have used my stores to overnight even when not delivering to them , So as long as you can plan at trip from DC to the stops and final location you will usually have reserned parking at those Office-max stores . Heck running office-max was the easiest freight not quite...it is continuous running from one trip straight into the next...it requires exceptional and on the fly trip planning and time management, the account does not tolerate any lates it is far from easy and takes exceptional stamina. I ever planned my shut downs around ,and liked the fact that shutting down at there stores over night guaranteed me room to pull ot my weights and set up my bench to lift weights
