The last time I checked, the cans that came in a 12 pack were 12 oz. each, not 8 oz., plus they can easily be found for $3 - $4, as opposed to the bottles, which are hard to find below $3.50 (I see specials all the time for soda at two 12 packs/$7.00).

For the most part, it is a wash between the two, and comes down to personal preference. I prefer the cans, because I find that the last 1/3 of the bottles goes flat before I can drink it.

I bought the Coleman PowerChiller at wally. After about 7-months the little resistor/chp burned up. I didn't have my receipt (not sure wally would have helped me out since it was 6-mos old), coleman said 6-8 weeks. I went to wally bought another one. took the chip out, put it in mine, and returned it. took about 10-minutes!

seems like everything at wally has a life span of less than a year. I bought a carhartt-like coat from them. The zipper broke in 2-days. Said screw it and bought a real carhartt.

I am reluctant to buy any food from wally. Seems like they sell all the rejects, defects, and contaminated made in china food. Buy local foods.

Lunchbox cookers are great. In mine I have cooked everything from (raw) stuffed pork chops to wieners and beans. Bought it with Pilot points. Next is a 12V coffee pot. But I have heard the truckstop variety are junk.

I munch on carrots mostly, but chips and cheezits and grapes too. I also eat a lot of lunch meats and soups in my lunchbox stove for dinner. I usually save my eating out for when i get home, and take my wife out. I'm still new but this has been working for me for 3 months soo..... OH!!! get a cooler, but not a coleman. Mine was crap and friends have had issues with them too. My 40qt igloo coolmate is awesome.

And yes guys i know.... 576oz of soda a week is alot..... i know it's just over 10 cans a day. i'm trying to cutback ok.

I had a cooler and a microwave in the truck but I also had a small propane grill that i cooked meat on. The grills are only about $20 and you can get small alluminum foil pans for your veggies. The propane you can get the small cans for about 3/7$. get a little folding chair and a small table. The grill fits in your side box with the chair and table.

The microwave will easily do easy quick items for fast food.

Cleanup was minimal, and it only cost about 40-60 a week in groceries and the meals were as healthy as you make them.

Tip dont buy too much meat at one time as the coolers go down often.

The big cost is getting everything and you could just go ahead and get a small fridge and eliminate the cooler and run it off of your invertor with the microwave.

another nice thing to have is a 12v crock pot.

Startup cost on this set up is big but well worth the invesment as you save money.
    On the road again Finally!!!!!
