OK, think the cold froze a few brain cells... finally thawing out now!

Obviously, I read your post wrong!

Don't worry about it, I'm cranky for a million reasons. I was coming back to change it but too late now.

    Stupid internet anyway. :?

    No worries...

How's it going down there? Hope it's not as cold as it is here! It's been brutal this week, with no end in sight so far, but at least it's not snowing!

It IS cold here. Actually, I'm off today, the mill decided it was too cold to run their equipment.
My truck must have the North in its blood too. Tons of chip trucks were shut down yesterday, and the story I got was... "wouldn't even turn over". Mine tried its heart out to fire but I finally decided to give er a little shot of the good stuff and away we went.
30 below and I was quite happy to go to work, couldn't figure out where everyone else was? lol
I'm goin home soon anyway, so winter will continue as normal for me. It'll be over soon here.

Several runs in the same dang week in the same bad area... at one point the high winds shredded our tarps... and that was the same night we had to chain up twice just to get from Ashland to Redding, CA.... sigh...aw well we did it and survived lol..

I've been trying for the last few hours to get my "gal" going today. I have to go to work tonight, so if I can get 'er to go. I'll just leave her run till time to go.... -36 here right now, at least no wind in the yard, we are pretty sheltered here at home... man I'll be glad when we get our shop built!!

I've had the Espar heater on for the last 4 hours, she wants to go...but was -45 last night so batteries are a bit run down, got the charger on her now & Dad is coming up to give me a hand, he's going to bring some "Momma's helper" & she should go...hubby is on way to Yellowknife, he said was -52 by Peace River this morning.

Was in Yellowknife on Saturday night it was -49 & a windchill of -72, now THAT was freakin cold!

You're heading back to the North country? Getting tired of that southern traffic I bet eh?

You betcha. I've see more accidents here in a month than I did in all my time up North.
    I miss my Northern people.
My plan was to spend a lot of time with my Dad and his wife. She had a bad stroke last March and is still not home full time. The plan failed, I'm just always working as usual. So I have some other plans on the go. They are all good. =)

Well that's good! Hope it all works out for you. Am off to Hay River tonight (finally got my truck going, Thank you Dad!), so off to bed for a few hours then rolling down the road at midnight.

Be safe out there, see ya when I get back!

Chris, didn't read your entire thread, but why are you leaving your current company (driving local) so soon?

Local is just not for me. You can only run to Jackson or Turlock so many times. I need to get out there and stretch my legs! Also, I made way less than half the $$$ I did in in 2007 than when I was OTR in 2006.
