super b train is a set of doubles or even triples where the lead trailer(or tanker) is built with the tow/fifth wheel fixed to the rear. The rear trailer(tanker) (pup) connects directly to the lead or secondary trailer not needing a standard- tow/fifth wheel dolly. Much safer design.Originally Posted by kahlana

Liters of fuel/liquid, and the pup trailers(tankers) are 2 compartment tankers carrying 27,000 liters.
Why not allowed to use single chains? wouldn't know- probably Canadian Law or safety issue.----single chains for that many tires would be a lot of iron
to be hanging. Chains can break-be thrown- knocking holes in the tanker- then you have an enviromental spill. I would imagine- this is why they want to keep the iron together in duel(triple rail chains)
