Default screwed up job history on application for Prime..

I talked to Cyndy today from Prime. I put down a job that I owned my business a while ago, but that was part time and I never filed any taxes (shhh.)...She wants me to provide tax 1099's for the years that I owned it. If I cant provide those, am I screwed? SNI never asked for that the other day and now I am paranoid that they will tomorrow when I actually talk to the recruiter for my interview. What can I do? I just want that off of my job history so I dont have to provide anything for it, but she has already seen it. Any thoughts?

If you don't have tax records (1099 or actual returns), then just do the letter dance. Get a letter on company letterhead and notarized...needs to be from someone that is NOT a family member to state that they know you ran a business from whenever to whenever. That should be all the company would need.

hmmm...The business was sold. Do you think I could get a letter from the guy I sold it to? Would that work?
