Yeah they are good entertainment sometimes, but after awhile the same two guys gets a little old. This is why 95% of the time my cb stays off or down low enough that i can hear if somebody says anything important(wrecks or construction delays etc.)

Yeah, people remember voices too. Just the other day a friend of mine heard a guy that tried to run him into a bridge rail in Kansas three months ago. Make a long story short my friend did every he could to live up to his promise to kill the guy if he found him. Might have, but the cops got there just in time.

Well I can uderstand your friends anger there , But in my experience with voices on a CB is that many sound alike , So your friend could be chasing the wrong person with harmfull intent for no reason .

When I was on the road listening to the Rambo's, the preachers, and the wannabe DJ's, and just the overall stupidity got real old real fast.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

We had one locally that likes to yap and stir things up. Got a good quarry on the other end and the local wanted to know where he was. Nothing was said, so I just happened to be sitting at a gas station where I knew the local passed by and a truck was sitting on the shoulder where a group, 4 people, got out. I gave the local a callout about the location and how he could not miss the truck. He saw the 4 guys standing there(they were looking at a truck for sale) and never slowed up. Didn't hear a peep from him after that. Tried calling the local asking why Mr. Tough Guy Rambo wouldn't stop.

Stuff is funny and ocassionally I like to stir the pot a little to see what the *****s will do.

Thats why I keep the radio off, everytime I turn it on hear these "git er done" wannabes.....I can feel the gray matter getting sucked out of my skull. All they do is suck up oxygen that could otherwise be used for people that deserve to live.

If they all went off a cliff, the world would be a better place.
Everything I need to know about driving a truck I learned from watching "DUEL"
