    Default Chain Hanger Locks

If you have a place to put a lock on your chain hangers, do it.

Had my truck parked in the regular spot last night, a fairly quiet (due to nasty lot full of massive pot holes) lot at a restaurant in Cache Creek, BC.

Bastards stole my chains. I'm totally grossed out, this is winter time in the mountains. They couldn't leave me one set even?

    Karma will prevail.

Good idea about lock-I think a cable lock would work well

My chain hangers have a little "lid" that closes over them, then there is a spot to put a padlock.
Funny it only works if you put a lock in it though.
Betcha 10 bucks I know whos shop manager is going lock shopping tomorrow.

If your chain hangers are like mine, a cable or a piece of chain welded to the hanger then locked would be good.

These aluminum caps can be popped off with a screw driver as they don't have a real hinge.

I'm sure replacement value of my chains, truck and trailers, would be 2,000 dollars... That's pretty LOW stealing chains, maybe you should paint yours pink  better than a lock...

Probably some low life heading for Alaska...
