    Default ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!! (why........)

i found it funny that sni turned me down when theres no reason for it so i tried superior carriers, and a duie pyle. superior did not call me but duie pyle did.
anyhow i just found out from pyle i have a TWO YEAR EIGHT MONTH old ticket on record that i honestly did not remember. superior just did not call me (sni just said "passed over for another driver" loll)

now i am wondering if i left a bad mark with thses companies or if maybe i can try again in say 5 months. it was not omitted pn purpose.

anyhow should i even try to call thses companies back at all or should i just try other places later..

i sooo wanna do this ......

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with this ticket. Maybe you can find something locally, that you can do for the time being. Try to hang in there, even if it might be a lower paying job, but that might help in the time being for the next few months to let this ticket get off your record.

Is this a ticket that has been taken care of?

If so then just be sure to list it on any future applications. As far as the companies you have applied to, it may take 6 months to a year before they will give any future applications any serious consideration.

If this ticket has not been paid yet then do so ASAP.

While you are at it, go down to the DMV and request a copy of your driving record and make sure that you are not forgetting about anything else.

Sni turned me down because i was honest about 2 tickets I recieved...

Then I got a copy of my MVR to find that the tickets werent even on there...

So I tried again, and explained that they werent even on there, but as they said, "I already admitted to it".

    What a joke.....

Ah well.....All things happen for a reason.

    While your doing LOL stuff...
Realize that SNI doesnt want to insure someone with recent moving violations.

Dont blame SNI for turning down applicants with traffic violations.

Are you different from all those who got turned down for the same reason?????

Did you do an "online application"? If so, did you follow it up with a phone call? Superior is not a company that is "crying for drivers"..... They are not a mega-carrier that runs 75 to 150 warm bodies a week through the mill.

now i am wondering if i left a bad mark with thses companies or if maybe i can try again in say 5 months. it was not omitted pn purpose.
Not necessarily.... with regards to the bad mark.

anyhow should i even try to call thses companies back at all or should i just try other places later..

i sooo wanna do this ......
If this is really something you want to do....then get on the phone and make the call!!

Superior for instance, has only a shade over 20% "turnover" annually, and for the most part....the turnover is age related.... Retirements and health issues with older drivers constitutes the majority of our turnover.

You won't get your answer if you don't make the call!!

If you aren't sure who to call....PM me with your location and I will locate a phone number for you and possibly a name of who to talk to. 8)

SNI allows up to 4 moving violations in the last 3 years according to their website if they are not 15mph over the limit. Most companies allow up to 2 or 3 moving violations in the last 3 years if they are not 15mph over or don't involve tailgating or following too close or erratic or unsafe lane changes. I don't know why a 2 year old ticket is causing a roadblock in getting hired with a company unless it is for something serious such as a DWI or a felony or a serious cdl violation.

i had a problem with a bench warrent on a ticket that was dropped. yeah. i had a reckless driving charge in colorado but the charge was dropped. but, it didn't clear the court on time so i was given a failure to appear and issued a bench warrent, they suspended my driving privaledge in colo. it never came up until 11 years later when i applied for a cdl. it cost me $211 to drop warrent and resrore my driving privlge there. just for their paperwork messup. coulda saved that cash by hiring a $500 lawyer. stuff happens. keep trying.

I would assume it's only a problem because it wasn't disclosed on the initial application. Once that happens you are classified as a lier, even if it was an accidental omission. Is it fair, not really, but it is common practice with many companies.
