Swift Trucking and pets
Anyone here drive for Swift and know what the current pet policy is, and if they are working towards not allowing pets?

Talked with a Swift recruiter a couple of weeks ago. As of now new hires are NOT ALLOWED to have a pet with them in the truck. Existing drivers are grandfathered and can continue for the time being. According to him, its a cost saving measure as a driver with a pet will idle his rig when not in it for the pet's comfort.Originally Posted by Firedude632
Personally, I think it will save money as those idle Swift rigs will not move off the terminal lot. It will save them a bunch of money!! :wink:
