Default Quick questions on CDL manuals in Georgia

Can you pick up a copy of the CDL manual at any DMV in Georgia, or can you only get them at the locations that do the CDL tests?

    Does it cost anything?

I know they have an online version, but I have a hard time reading online documents for long periods of time. I prefer paper, and I don't think my employer would be too happy with me printing out a 132-page document.

Yeah, you can get them in any DMV in the state of Georgia. All you have to do is go in there and ask for one. Are they could be on a table, where all you have to do is grab one, thats how it was when i pick mine up. But, if you dont see one on a table just go up there and ask them to give you one. They are free and you can get as many as you want.

Thanks! I tried calling to ask, but they don't post phone numbers on the DMV web site.

You can download all the manuals you will need to study off of the DMV website... http://www.dds.ga.gov/ click on the commercial link and then on to manuals.

Yes, I just like having a paper copy better than trying to read it off of a screen.

Yes, but that's expensive on an inkjet printer, and it would look a bit suspicious if I did it at work.
