Default Does he have a chance??

Posting for a buddy, he was trained by the company rhyming with "evens" and drove for 8 months... thats been just over a year ago, and to top it off recently he got a speeding ticket for more than 20 over in his personal car, I believe it was considered reckless, thus 2 points on his record.... he's waanting to come back to driving and he has a dog.. sooo I thoght I'd throw it out there if anyone may know of a compnay that he might be able to drive for....

It is considered reckless (in the eyes of the law). He should have gotten a lawyer and fought it down. But, I think he has a chance, but ruled out a lot of companies.

2 points for a 20 mph over + wreckless? He needs to look at his driving record. In WV those 2 fines would be 9 points.

The 20 over could be a problem with some insurance companies. He just needs to check around.

The ticket in California's eyes being 20 over is considered reckless, however the ticket was issued in Texas and he went to court there to see if they would reduce it and the judge said no... he's calling California DMV to see if it's been reported to them. I think he's SOL but I told him I would post here anyway..

He's actually obligated to notify California within 30 days of ANY conviction with a Class A license. Plus, all the states are linked to report CDL convictions to each other.
