Ok how old were you when you started.
Ok how old were you when you started.
I dunno if you'd call mine a crisis - I started driving school 2 weeks after my divorce
Wanna play a couple online games that are absolutely free? These are the games I play on a very regular basis:

I was 33 when I started! Now, I am 34. Wow the years on the road sure make you old. I can still remember the first time I tried to move a big truck. boy what a memory!
First drove a dump truck "on road" when I was 16.
(That was in the 70's when that was legal to do.)
First drove a truck "off road" (on private property) when I was 11.
If you can't shift it smoothly, you shouldn't be driving it.
You need at least three more age ranges, 45 - 50, 50 - 55, 55 - 60. I was 49 when I started.
I first drove a truck for a living when I was about 18. Things were a little different back then.
yep things were different then. The earth was completely made of water and everyone wore scary blue body suits. Everyone except Kevin Costner because we had to know who the star of the movie was!
First started around 18 back in the 70's.
Left for a while to join the military.
Returned to driving in 92.
Left again in 05 called back to Active Duty.
Back again JAN 08.
What a ride it has been!!!!
Never sacrifice Safety for Speed!
Started in 1994 at 23 driving a 1954 "WHITE" dump truck
Did the trucks have wooden wheels and hard rubber tyres???Originally Posted by GMAN

Maybe it was stone wheels that were foot power and you had to go yabba dabba do to get them going. :P :POriginally Posted by Doctor Who
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.
23 when I first started driving. 33 now. Man how time flies.

I started in the 50s. No license, No insurance, about 15 yrs old. 10 wheel dumps and dump trailers on farms. It was common back in the day.
It's a cinch by the inch - By the yard it's hard....
Well at least someone is older then me when they started 37 here.
I'm off the scale...I was 60.
My brother in law started when he was 65, and he's 80 now. Still driving, too.
Brang it On!
