Unless you have an EZ Pass transponder that lets you pass an open station, then you have to stop. Of course only if its open.
You should read the signs about 1 mi ahead that tell you if its open or closed.
Hahahahah will turn to boohoohoo if you get caught passing an open station
Everything I need to know about driving a truck I learned from watching "DUEL"
Oh dayum!!! I passed an open one today.... and so did the rig behind me??? So whats gonna happen now??? Did it take a pic of my truck??? I was empty.....does that matter???Originally Posted by inmate1577
Ez Pass won't do squat for you at a weigh station. That device is only for paying tolls. PrePass will let you bypass scales if you get a green light.Originally Posted by inmate1577

Are you willing to die to take them away from me?
Well I know I passed it and it was open so??? What do you do once you pull in??? Whats the process.....

Oh please lord, tell me their not putting CDL's in crackerjack boxes. He's either a troll or a swifty, not sure which. :!:
The battle may not always go to the strong nor the race to the swift but thats the way to bet
Judging by his other post he got a ticket for no Logbook but it was written for something else

True, but you have a good distance of warning before the station itself.Originally Posted by DD60

It's pretty much a given that all the major NM Weigh stations (on major highways entering the state) will be open 24/7.Originally Posted by inmate1577

I have been studying the CDL book in prep to go to driving school soon. PLEASE tell me there aren't drivers out there with a current CDL that are as clueless as this guy!? Whats a weigh station, and no logbook??? I might have to rethink this career choice!
Cheers
It sure sounds like it. How can you get a CDL without knowing the basic laws that drivers have to follow? I think this example answers the questions: Is there really a driver shortage? and Why do they want to let Mexican drivers in the United States.Originally Posted by CaptCaveman
