    Default Regional....South ????

Any of you vets out there know of any South/Regional Tanker outfits??

I have a year under my belt, with all the required endorsements.
I live in northwest Florida, but I don’t know of any outfits that are regional to the south.

    Thanks for all the help

I know absolutely nothing about them, but I run up and down the road with Florida Tank Lines trucks all the time. I'm a ways from Floreeda, but still in the South up here, barely. That might be an encouraging sigh for you.

Well, I dont know anything about tanker companies, myself. I would look into the thread, "Tanker info for yall" in the "what about this trucking company" forum. Cyanide has lots of info, and company info on different tanker companies. You might also want to send Cyanide a PM. I bet your boots that he can find you a good tanker company to go with.

Not sure if they do regional or not, probably so, but check out Tidewater Transportation out of Wilmington, NC.

Tidewater is out of Kinston NC, but they do have a terminal in Wilmington.
Good company. I'd get ahold of the terminal nearest to you.

Thanks for the correction. I'm not really familiar with them, but we used to have a driver posting here who worked for them out of Wilmington.

I've always kept them in mind, as someday I may want to drive Regional in this area (close to my parents.) I figured, what could be better than to do my hometime at my cottage on the beach!!
