I work for Maverick, anything I can help ya with??
The new rules are to keep spammers from slamming people's PM boxes with junk and the new rule works. There isn't a spammer out there that's going to pretend to be a real poster for 50 posts in order to start spamming.A little while back I PM'ed another driver with questions about the company he works for, and now i tried to do it again and it's a no-go thanks to the new rules
smokdu,Thanks for the offer of help.
I am currently on the "waiting list" with Maverick. I looked real hard at Roehl and TMC. Maverick tells me that due to my location (KY) that my wait should not be that long.
I was also told by Maverick that I could pull a covered wagon which sounds good to me, ... little less tarp time ... little more home time.
I am just looking for knowledge and insight from Maverick drivers and especially recent graduates of their training. Any advice or information would be great.
I was wanting to go to the transportation side (3 to 4 week wait) of the house, but when the recruiter called i asked about any other divisions that Maverick might have, and he was more than happy to ship me out to Laurinburg that very next weekend. I was a little apprehensive about pulling glass, but at least I got my foot in the door. I was told by a few transportation drivers that the freight on that side of the house was slow. All of the drivers on the side have said that they average 2500 - 3000 miles a week. I won't meet up with my trainer until friday so I dont first hand. Only bad side is, 10 - 14 days out. Well, for some people that is... i on the other hand am single and will enjoy the runs to Cali. check them out www.maverickspecialized.com
