I have had the chance to talk with many Boyd Bros. company drivers & O/O's. Like any big trucking company, you have people on both sides of the scale. Most however are contented with their jobs and the $$ that they make. The O/O's I have chatted with had been with Boyd for years, and were not interested in changing. This was the first quarter of this year, when most folks were dieing from slow freight.

If you are looking at flatbed company's, you might take a look at Jordan Carriers out of Jackson MS. Their driver's all seem to be happy..and they certainly driver decent equipment, as do the Boyd drivers.

    Default thanks

thanks for the info. I'm not dead set on flatbed's they just seem to come to me more offen, plus I do have some experience with them. I have been off the road for 5 months due to family issue's and am looking to go back but there are so many company's out there that want you do things like cheat on your logs, push you to do more. I will not cheat my logs I want to run legal atleast until I have plenty of miles under my belt then do it my may. but for the most part legal.
