If I had gotten that when i worked for them, I would still be working for them.

But I'm just one driver out of 13,000. I'm sure someone is making that kind of money.

yep, been with JB for a little over 3 months now, and bringing home just over $600.00 a week. I have the top level family insurance and am putting 10% in the 401k for as long as I can stand it.
Will probably drop the 10% down to 6% soon because I like buying cute little bolt on toys for my jeep.
I don't have any complaints about JB so far, and if someone had told me 2 years ago that I would be driving for them now, there probably would have been a fight! hehehe.
If I had just a little more humility,...... I'd be perfect!!!

Why would ANYONE think someone other than a CPA could tell them what their "take-home" would be? ( Yea I know you don't have to be a CPA to figure it, but I'm trying to make a POINT ).

Maybe it is just one of my " things". Two people can both MAKE 1000.00 dollars GROSS a week and one may "take home" 500.00 and the other 950.00. One may have 9 dependants and the other 0. Full family insurance Vs. no insurance. 401k deductions. Vision and dental insurance. State taxes Vs. NO state taxes.

Heck if all your worried about is "take home" then go to work for an O/O that pays you as an independant contractor. You will "take home" every thing you earn. It will most likely be MORE than most company drivers. But please don't come here asking if anybody has ever delt with the IRS for back taxes owed and how to deal with all of the interest and pentalities.

In my best Jeff Foxworthy ( sp ) impression; " If you have ever asked "How much can I bring home, or said " I bring home" . Please do NOT try to become an O/O. You just don't get it and you will probally fail.

Glad I got that off my chest,

    Ridge

Same way that I felt, until the miles mysteriously disappeared. Now, I'm not disgruntled, like Cluggy619, but I was upset that my miles went from averaging 2900/wk (my first 3 months) to under 2000/wk for the final 2 months that I worked there.

BOL - Hope it keeps up for you!

I've been classified as disgruntled, by members of this board.

I where it like a badge. There are always a reason people post on this board. Some are good, some are bad. But always a reason.

BOL to you. Let us know how Bar Nunn works out.

I here ya! I was just stating that I'm not considered "disgruntled", mainly because I don't really care about JB. I'm not gonna bash them even though, IMHO, I feel they're not a good company. No offense Cluggy.

Im here! Now.....what can I answer?
As far as gross pay, I would need to know the run you are talking about.
As far as take home....the recruiter really cant tell you that. That would depend on your tax situation, which insurance you choose and how much you put into your 401k. Im always of the belief that you should put as much as possible in your 401k...however most people dont.
