    Welcome!

Do you know any OTR drivers? If so, start asking them questions.

Do you want to run a van trailer? Refridgerated trailer? Flatbed trailer? Tanker trailer?

Would you prefer more of a national route or regional route?

What companies are in your neck of the woods? If the company has a website read it carefully. Feel free to ask questions on the board here. In fact, start reading now and you'll get some of your questions answered ahead of time.

You'll need to attend a truck driving school. Perhaps a company in your area will foot the bill for you provided you stay with them for a year or two. If you can foot the bill, that may open up better doors for you (you won't be tied to company for a period of time).

Start with those and I'm sure others will chime in here as well.

    All the best!

Bonjour mon ami (amie). How are you? I grew up in Montreal. I miss it so much. The Canadiens and the Forum and Old Montreal.

Here's a site that might help you out. Gives you lots of areas you can search and find companies and the areas they cover and what type of trucking company they are. Hope it can help. I'll try to find more for you.

TAT TRUCK, look into SGT which I think is Saint Germain Transport. I believe they are based out of MTL, and my even have some sort of training program for new drivers.

    Good luck!

I didn't look around their site too much, but you should be able to find some info on it.
