    Default Hazmat certificate?

    After you go through all the happy legal BS to get you Hazmat, do you get a certificate of some sort, or just the OK to have the endorsement on your license?

    They just sent me a paper that I took to the DMV and then they put the endorsment on my CDL. I am not sure how it works in other states.

    Well I already had mine when the hassle started but I got nothing more than the ability to keep that little bitty "X" (since I have tank also) on my license

    In Texas they send you your approval paperwork and your license a week or two later. They do take a long to approve you.
