Default What bugs you about other DRIVERS?

I was inspired by another thread to ask this question, one I've been thinking about for a while. Not talking four wheelers, but what pet peeves do you have with other truck drivers as far as driving habits? Strictly talking driving here, not truck stop etiquette, CB behavior, hygeine etc. My top three:
    1. Not using turn signals. One of the most basic elements of driving, it's not that difficult.
    2. I'm in the climbing lane and they ride up alongside as it's ending, forcing me to back way off to tuck in behind them.
    3. If their lane is ending, they don't signal and move to the left, instead just follow that lane to the bitter end and drift over (without a signal) following the fog line. This one usually doesn't affect much of anything, it's just annoying to me.
    Let's roll.

Flashing bright lights when clear after passing at night,if your lights don't turn off(daylite running lights)don't worry I know when I'm past.

Using fog lights on a clear night
    No turn signals
Failing to turn off the high beams when they are coming at you
Running into my lane and almost pushing me into a wall
    Drivers who don't shower
    Peeing on the fuel island
Parking in the fuel island and not fueling
    And the list goes on...........

    I'll make a simple post:

    I hate STUPIDITY!!!

That can be in the form of:

    a) from the CB, "I'm not wearing any panties", deciding to be a DJ and playing your favorite music (which usually sucks), making stupid noises, or just getting on and arguing for no reason

    b) From the OP, turn signals - biggie for me

    c) creating your own parking spaces which ends up blocking others from being able to even get in/out of a truckstop

    d) etc etc etc

Yeah, that one's not too bad for me as long as they don't hold the brights on too long, but I know how others feel about it. I have DRLs, and cut the lights instead. The clearance lights going out and headlights going dim seems to be noticeable. It's nice to get some kind of "thanks" signal in return, but I'm not too broken up if I don't.
    Let's roll.

Being governed at 64mph,...being passed by a guy governed at 64.5mph , happened at Stevens often.
Why not just let off a bit and stay in the lane,..........

Some good ones listed so far. Here's a few more.

    1. Moving in the left lane to let a truck merge onto the freeway, only for him to speed up and move pass me in the right lane instead of letting me get back over. So rude!!

    2. There are 2 spots left in the rest area and some guy parked and took up 2 spaces and I can't park.

    3. Tailgating!! It's so dangerous, pisses me off everytime.

Yep the tailgating thing gets to me.
Also these dorks who have spent wads of money on a CB radio , yet still cant formulate a thought without using the term "***got" or "nigger"

The list goes on, but truck drivers are generally pigs.

The tailgaters are usually the speeders and the ones that will cut you off short about the time traffic is slowing...they have to be in your spot. The trouble is you can't trust thier judgement enough to relax behind them.

Looking into another cab's dish and seeing trash and what not all over the dashboard. Just looks really trashy, pardon the pun, and unprofessional.

Tailgating!! Especially when I am in my little car and all I can see is a big truck in my back window. I KNOW what it takes to stop that truck! And it scares the heck out of me.

I hate it when the driver ahead of me can't maintain a constant speed or is going slow, but when I go to pass they suddenly feel the need to speed up. It may have something to do with the color of my truck though.

Fueling and then pulling ahead and going inside to sit down and eat or shower. Another one is drivers who do not take care of themselves by not showering changing their clothes ect...This is why the general public thinks that all truck drivers are dirty and think that we are at the bottom of the food chain as far as occupations.

Tailgating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant seem to understand what is sooooo hard about going the speedlimit! Why cant drivers just slow down and be respectful of other drivers!!!! I had a guy the other day pass me while I was doing 65, the speedlimit, and then had the nerve to flip me off like I was holding him up.

fog lights is one that really bugs me, do these guys not realize how bright they are, they are not meant to be used every time you turn the headlights on.

drivers who have no consideration for other drivers on the road. It's that me first attitude.

drivers who are governed and always feel the need to pass you because they have to drive 1 mph faster than you, and then cut you off, I don't like to follow that close behind someone and it usually ends up in me having to pass them.

Were you in the right lane? Here are my pet peeves:

    1. Driving in the center lane doing 55mph when all the faster traffic is passing on the left and right.
2.Driving in the left lane and NOT passing or trying to dragrace a car going 1/2 mile slower.
    3. Driving in an exit only lane until the last second and then veer to the left without using a left turn signal.
4.Not maintaining all teeth or sporting one tooth.
5.Chitchatting or flirting with the cashier at the fuel desk when there are other people in line.
6.Driving or failing to acknowledge unsafe equipment.
7.Wearing oversize torn-up sweat pants and stinking to high heaven while morbidly obese at the same time.(Barf).
8.Blocking the entrance and exit while waiting to fuel.If it is that busy,it's time to fuel somewhere else. You'll save yourself time and money anyway.
9.Speeding up when you move in the left lane to pass, especially in states with a 55mph limit. You were already doing 55 before,so why speed up when a faster truck is overtaking you?
    10.Following way too close.

These are Letterman's top ten driving pet peeves for the evening.

    Everything mentioned above.

I don't see how you get your cdl and still can't read.

if you see a sign right lane ends one mile, get to the left lane.. I get over and wait for the truck in front of me to get over for a half mile, then i proceed to pass. Perhaps they can't read.

I wait for them to use their signal to come to the left. If they try to come over with no signal they will hit me or have to ride the shoulder till I decide to slow down.

1.Deciding to pass me when an on ramp is coming, thereby locking me in and forcing me no option but to lock down on my brakes to avoid hitting the merging vehicle.

2.Attempting to pass me on an uphill grade only to drop to my speed and block the hammer lane, causing angry four wheelers, then radio me to back down so they can get over.

3.Bitching at me because I am in the slow lane, going 3 to 5 mph over posted speed limit in a construction zone, blaming the back up on me instead of the dummy clogging hate hammer lane once again.

    4. Riding my or any other vehicles tail.
