If you want to pull a van go with Crete they are one of the best companies out there bar none also as a new driver have one of the best pay rates out there. If you want to pull a skateboard AKA a flatbed then go with Maverick one of the BEST companies OUT THERE what so ever. Flat out forget about Werner unless you want to make only .25 cpm or Pumpkin AKA Schienders .27 cpm Crete starts you off at .32 cpm so 5 cents higher per mile so more money per mile.

Rev, have to admit. Your a wealth of information about the industry. You quote rules out of the FMCSA left and right, and a decent Photo shop creator.

But sometimes... when your not sharing wisdom.. your like the younger sibling in the car, continuously poking who ever is sitting next to you. For the entire 6 hour ride.

For the companies you've listed. I've only been with Werner, they don't get my vote due to the lack of CPM. Heard great things about the other 3 co. though.

To echo Rev's comment, why just these companies?

Are where there yet? Are we there yet? How about know?

Ahh..recalling fond memories of a week long RV trip with my grandparents and cousin with her New Kids on the Block tape that never stopped playing.

Another vote for Schneider; IF you insist on doing the OTR thing.

There is plenty of local work most places if you look. I earn ok money and sleep in my own bed every night.

Well, not really. Was echoing your original question of why just these two. Which was a valid question.

You only get paid less, if you work less. Plus SNI has better training than the rest.
