Look harder. Go to a truck stop and pickup the free truck publications, look through the ads and pickup the phone.

Forget about trucking would be my guess. I hate to sound negative and dissapointing but your record is what it is. Your only hope would be to run for a small carrier or possibly a company known to exclusively hire ex felons. I keep seeing folks on this board, and this is pertaining to some alcohol posts a few days ago, that will tell you that you are employable in trucking with multiple felony and DUI convictions, it ain't so. I had a 21 year old DUI, 2 open containers at least 15 years old, and an adj/witheld felony for agg assault almost 20 years old and a halfway decent verifiable 10 year work history, and virtually every major carrier shot me down.

Sheepdancer is a recruiter. Apparently he feels you will be fine. How about it sheepdancer? Why not help this person start a new life?

The guy who started this thread was obviously joking. Kind of a parody of the many recent threads of people trying to get into this industry who have very scary records like recent DWIs.

    I would try Prime Inc.

They used to be Crime Inc. but the Mafia threw them out because they were too hard on their employees.

    You will fit right in.

Oh ok sheep, he did sound convincing. I'll play along, urabus those minor things might be a problem plus it would look better if you had an assualt with a motor vehicle and a vehicular homicide or 2.

You are going to have to start your new life somewhere else. All the companies I know of won't even look at you if you have 1 felony. You have a rap sheet as long as my arm. That is if this is a true post.
I would rather fail at something that will ultimately succeed rather than succeed at something that will ultimately fail.

Well, if your ARE serious, then all I can say is that you have spent the better part of your life lying, cheating, deceiving, robbing others of hope, causing great harm to others, causing grief and and endless trails of heartache......Ummmmm.....perhaps should look at becoming a recruiter!!

    Or... a dispatcher......
Forrest Gump was right....and some people literally strive to prove it.....everyday. Strive not to be one of "them".... And "lemmings" are a dime a dozen!

Remember: The "truth WILL set you free"! If it doesn't "set you free"....."it will trap you in the cesspool of your own design".

They lost my original "avatar"....oh well.

I once stole a dump truck and used it to run my ex-wife off the road in her car. Am I hireable?
You can take the driver out of the truck but you cant take the truck out of the driver.

"I got my CDL-A" If you're serious, someone didn't serve you well. Go to that person/school and ask them to assist you in getting employment.
On the other hand, you may make more money in the long run working for Mickey D's, Burger Fling, etc. Your hours will be much better and you'll be home regularly. BOL

Puleeeeeze! It's obivous this guy was setting up a joke. Now he's/she's sitting back getting a major kick out of reading everybodies comical replies. Notice he hasn't gotten back onto this thread? I recommend getting on with an ambulance.... then he can be woken up all hours of the night running 911 calls on people with the same record. It's exciting...! Riiight.
