Expediting is different, but the same, but it's different. I'm so confused.
I'm sure the soccer moms are gonna be thrilled that their prides and joy will be going to school when it's dark until 8 AM in some parts of the country in early March. Never could figure out how the claim can be made for less energy usage by it being darker later in the morning. Seems to be nuetral for energy usage at best. But then maybe it's 'cause I grew up on a farm when daylight "saving" just meant a later start to the day. BOL
Yeah, I wished they would split the difference, and leave it alone. :P
A couple of states dont use daylight savings, right?
Just sleep in a hour later :POriginally Posted by Twilight Flyer
Arizona doesn't. I thought at one time 1/2 of Indiana didn't either but didn't they change that recently?Originally Posted by Jackrabbit379

I'm with Jackrabbit! Split the difference and leave it the heck alone. I wish we could find the responsible party and work him or her over with a Hot Shot.

Spring, too. :wink:Originally Posted by BanditsCousin

Most of the people that I talk to welcome the return of DST.
I'm with Batman on this one; I don't care for it.
Come the summer Solstice, and it doesn't even get dark down here untill after 9:00 P.M.!!
 I hate it. I hate time zones too.
There is a proposal in government to get rid of it but it will take a few years for this to happen if it passes. If your computer is up to date with Microsoft updates your system will adjust the clock correctly if your computer has the correct time zone that you reside in.
I'm with you. I'd rather use GMT time.Originally Posted by roadhog
