    Default Volvo's and Tri-Rails

I have heard that Volvo 670-870's cannot utilize tri-rails because of risk of damage to the shock mount bolt. Has anyone heard this, or has a reference that would verify it?
I used to drive a Volvo 770, and I broke it. I used to drive a Volvo 780 and I broke it. I now drive a Peterbilt 379 and am trying not to break it

If 3-railer's are not mounted properly on "ANY" truck, there is risk of damage to the shock mounts, spring shackles, and even airbags.

Proper sizing of chains, pre-installation, and proper installation, prevents any damage from occuring...provided the driver, drives a reasonable speed for chain use.

Have many miles of chain use..over Snoqualmie, Blewett, Stevens, Sherman, White, Cabbage, Siskus/Dunsmir, Lost Trail, and LookOut Passes. Throw in Metro Seattle use as well. Never a ripped fender..only a few broken cross links.

I have my chain tool...do you have yours?

I have been told by multiple people that it was a design flaw, and that is why I asked. As far as chain tools, the only tool I had was my t-bar (and I can kick myself for not taking it when I cleaned my truck out). That is the only tool I need (unless tri-rails are needed)
