Just wait until you pass a scale house that is open and hit your signal to pull in.
Finding the right trucking company is like finding the right person to marry. I really comes down to finding one whose BS you can put up with and who can put up wih yours.

Oh, and lets nots forget how hard it is to back up a POV after dragging around a 53' trailer... I ALWAYS start backing in the wrong direction in my car.

2 of my biggies are taking turns WIDE and reaching up to the head liner to turn on the interior light in my car (the dome light switch is om my signal arm thingy beside the steering wheel) I do that all the time.
Oh yeah, and I drive WAY slower in my car now too!

I am usually in 5th gear by the time I get thru an intersection in my pickup.

I also have a tendency to grind gears not pushing in the clutch far enough(avoiding clutch break)

Trying to figure out why the Jake Brake in my pickup is not working occupies a bit of time also.

I have owned my pickup truck for more than 11 years now and I still have to look at the shifter to find reverse.

I keep feeling the need to mount a air horn in my dodge stealth.....just so I can see the cord hanging in case I need it.

I tried just hanging a cord....just didn't feel the same...

How about going from a 20 inch steering wheel down to a donut, or having to put far less input into the steering wheel to make the pickup turn or stay in a lane.

Police Officer: "Sir, how much have you had to drink today?"

Trucker in a pickup: "Oh no no no, I just got out of my freightliner."

Officer: "You mean to say you were driving drunk in that too!?"

For my first few months of driving a big rig, when I would get back in my car after a few weeks on the road, I was very nervous driving it and I had trouble keeping it stable in my lane. It litereally took me an hour or so to adjust to my car again  It felt "wrong" to be so low to the ground and I hated not being able to see very fqr. Next vehcile I get has to be a pickup truck. I can't stand being low to the ground. I often find myself reaching for my great shift and have to remind myself it's an automatic. And yes I still reach overhead to turn on my dome light. I also can't remember how my AC controls are congifured and that throws me out of wack lol. What would be awesome would be to put air brakes in my car cus I love the sound everytime I press in the parking break its like ahhhhhhh.
