    Default After graduation??

I'm thinking on going to my local ATI trucking school. I talked to the administrator at the school. And she said there would be recruiters that come to the school to hire the passing students. My fear is that I don't want to sign on with the wrong company but... I don't want to sit around too long with no Job  . And can't find a trucking job on my own. I plan to keep my full time job as I go to school. Do you guys Have any suggestions?? Thanks

Don't be pressured to sign on with the companies that come to recruit you. if worst comes to worst, they will most likely take you on later if you can't find another job after graduation. Don't wait too long after graduation though.

Keep us posted on which companies try to recruit you...

I had four pre-hire letters from companies who came to my school. Those letters don't bind you to any company. It merely means they have checked you out and will hire you if you graduate.

It is a common courtesy to notify the companies that you don't choose that you have gone with someone else and thank them for their consideration. You never know, you may some day end up knocking on their door for a job. Don't burn any bridges.

Take advantage of those recruiters. Fill out their applications. Get those pre-hire letters. Then, when the time comes, select the one that best fits you.

    Best of luck to you!
