    Default Insurance Rate Break?

I've had my CDL (cali) for 15 months and can't seem to find an insurance company (car) that will give me a rate brake based on having significantly more training than someone with a class C license, basically it doesn't matter how much training you have had.

25, never an accident, 1 ticket that I went to school on 3 years ago (doesn't even show up) so no tickets to speak of, 784 FICO (some use that too) and I pay $67 a month for the legal minimum liability on a 93 civic (total rape) anyone know of an insurance company that is CDL friendly so to speak? thanks guys.

Hmmm, better call Geico, even a caveman can do it! You best bet is to shop around.

I think progressive will give you a quote, and quotes from other insurance companies as well (which MAY be cheaper).

I pay $125/mo for full coverage on a loaded 04 GMC Envoy, and I'm 24. Location plays a factor as well, even if you don't have comprehensive.

I don't know of any insurance company who will give you a brake on your rate based upon having a CDL. If they did, I am sure you would need to have it for more than 15 months to make a difference. About the only thing I can thng of that makes a difference in rates is to have a clean MVR and get a little older. Most insurance companies give you a bit of a break when you reach 25 years of age. They base their rates on risk. The younger the driver the greater the chance of having an accident which will result in a claim. The longer you drive, the more experience you have the less likelihood of becoming involved in an accident. Where you live can also have an impact on your rates. If you live in a densely populated area, your rates will likely be higher than if you lived in a more rural area. You might check with some other insurance companies. Progressive gave me a good rate last year. I am getting an even better rate from Allstate this year since I have my homeowners policy with them. If you own your residence you can often get a better rate by putting more of your insurance with the same provider.

    Default Liberty Mutual

Don't bother asking them, they don't give a break either. BOL
