    Default Construction and OTR

I currently have a spring to fall Construction job, driving water truck, for a rotomill crew (CAT 565-B). Would a OTR company hire me from late October to March/April?

I'm not sure how early to contact the companies to see if they would do this. I don't want to give up the Construction job due to how much I like it, and the pay is nice also 17.26/hr plus OT, with it being higher in MT, and MN.

I'm looking at E.W. Wylie http://www.wylietrucking.com/ and Magnum http://www.magnumlog.com/. Haven't looked real hard to see if there are any others that appeal to me.

    Thanks

look at local driving, income will be closer to what you are used to and less chance of bs when you need to get back to your summer job. i can just imagine you not getting routed home at the agreed upon date.

if you divide your otr paycheck by how many hours you work it comes to less than 17/hr. Plus you dont get paid overtime otr. I would keep the contruction job.

Roehl hires seasonal drivers, and they pay pretty decent. Give them a shout.
