    Default Do i have to go back to school?

    well i got my az back in jan,29,06 and tried to find a job at 20 but no luck not even for a class d truck. i got very little exp at work driving a 11000 lb flat bed truck but was very small.Anyways i was thinking i would have to take 2-3 lession but what do you guys think im turning 21 at the end of may so need to save now.

    Hi Mackfan

    Most companies will make you take a refresher course. Sorry to share the bad news, not sure what it costs but I believe around $500-$700 or so. Hang in there.

    you mean the hole course it cost me $3500 i was just going to take a few refresher lession.my school charges $75 for a 1 hour lession.

    I know that some schools give lessons, paid by the hour, like you said, That might be a good thing to do rather than pay several hundred dollars for a refresher course, although I didn't even know there was such thing as a refresher course

    I know when I was your age the best jobs that I could find were local delivery jobs driving straight trucks, or shunting, When you turn 21 your options will become better. Good luck
